How to become a Beta Tester for WhatsApp in 'four' simple steps.

This post demonstrates about becoming a "Beta Tester" for the WhatsApp android based application. It will take as few as 4 clicks or 4 simple steps.

“Beta Tester” is a feature that lets you enjoy the application in advance, while your family, friends, and other fellas are still waiting.

By the way who the hell is a “Beta Tester”??

 - Yeah! An impressive question indeed!

This person is someone who gets an opportunity to Test those features of a Software or application (any mobile platform or OS-based) which are meant to launch in the next version.

If you somehow find anything buggy or feature that is not working as per the requirements, then developer(s) would fix that issue/bug. Thus, a "Beta Tester" helps out those bunch of developers who have been busy with the development of the application.

Hence after achieving the "badge" of a beta tester, you are authorized to provide your valuable feedback and what more a developer could do to improve its process or how the user-interface of the app should look, etc. Let's say, just for an example, "contact list should be display in a grid format rather than a list" etc.

Well… loads of talks, let's get to the point straight.

Step 1: Open the Play Store.

Step 2: Search or Tap on the app you want to enjoy on your mobile as a “Beta Tester”

At this stage, your application is running an updated version. You can clearly see just two options UNINSTALL and OPEN.

You have no notification to Update your app yet.

Step 3: Scroll down the application page.

You will get to see two buttons “FIND OUT MORE” & “I’M IN
As you can see in the following figure

Step 4: Click on the “I'M IN” button, then click on the JOIN button.

As you click/tap on the JOIN button. You will be greeted with the following message.

It will take some 10 to 15 (or more) minutes to mark you down as a “Beta Tester”

If an update is available for that App, you can update it as desired.

You're a beta tester for this app. Awesome! Enjoy!

Step 5: (Optional) You can install the 'update' and enjoy the new feature with a word of caution.

you can also create surprises for developers with your awesome ideas and so the final product.

Enjoy your powers!

Happy Testing!
